Reiki therapy is one type of energy healing to promote healing and well being. Clients have to option for my hands to be touching their skin or held above the areas that are being worked on. You will be fully clothed and lying on a massage table. It's important that you are comfortable. I will use bolsters and blankets to make you as comfortable as possible. Sometimes, I may place crystals around you and/or use essential oils during therapy.
Everyone experiences something different. Some clients feel warmth from my hands or tingling and others feel nothing at all during the treatment. Most clients feel more relaxed and comfortable by the end of their treatment. It's not uncommon for someone to fall asleep. One thing that is certain, you will not feel any pain or discomfort.

Many people are aware of the therapeutic benefits of Essential Oils. More and more people use them on a daily basis. Plant medicine has been around for centuries. Many symptoms, and conditions can be treated with blends of essential oils and more and more essential oils are finding their way into the Western Medicine world.
Many times, what people dont know are the safety profiles, methods of blending and how to administer essential oils to provide the therapeutic effect required. During a consult, a brief medical history is taken along with an evaluation of what symptom and/or condition the client is experiencing. I will then make recommendations of what essential oils for them to use and provide an essential oil "recipe" for them to make at home with detailed instructions on how to use the blend to provide relief.
It is not uncommon for clients to ask me to make the blend for them. Many times, they dont have the time or the supplies at home to make it themselves. I am happy to make the product for them.
